Payment Due Dates - Disconnect Charges
Water bills are due on or before the 15th of each month. After the 15th there is a penalty of 10% applied to the bill. Anytime your account falls two months past due, you are subject to disconnection. Once a service technician is dispatched to disconnect your service, the total bill must be paid in full, along with the service fee to reconnect your service. The Cut Off Service Fee for reconnection is $50.00 if paid before 3:00 PM during regular working hours. The fee after 3:00 PM and outside of regular working hours is $100.00. All fees are subject to change.
The bills are mailed before the last day of each month. If you do not receive a bill in the mail, you should call or come to the office prior to the 15th to pay your bill. (Anytime you have a change of address or phone number, please notify us of this change.)

Payments
Payments should be paid at the Energy United Water Corporation Hiddenite office.
You may pay your bill in office, by mail, by phone or online. We also have a drive thru window for your convenience. Our night deposit is located beside the drive thru. Bank Draft service is also available. A form must be completed in the office along with a voided check. We accept Debit/Credit Cards (Mastercard/Visa). There is a fee for use of a card of any kind, debit or credit, whether in office, online, or by phone. This fee applies to water payments, membership fees or new taps. To avoid the cost of card fees, you may pay by cash or check, or sign up for Bank Draft service at our office.

Water Rates (Minimum Bill - $17.00)
0-5,000 gallons	5,000 - 10,000 gallons	10,000 gallons and up
$4.30 per 1,000 gallons	$4.55 per 1,000 gallons	$4.80 per 1,000 gallons
DATA LOG METER - Customer Request is $50.00
RECORDS SEARCH FEE - $10.00

Service Periods
The fee for “Same day service” is $50.00, if paid before 3:00pm (Emergencies will warrant same day service and is at the discretion of Energy United Water Corporation.)
If your service is on for less than three months and you request it to be turned off or transferred, you will be charged a service fee of $50.00.

Returned Check Fee
Returned check fee is $30.00. Two returned check maximum, then cash only status.

Important to Note
We recommend that you install a pressure regulator on your line for your protection from high pressure and pressure surges.
We are not responsible for sowing grass on your property when we set a meter.
